GLOBALISATION IMPERATIVES OF DIAGNOSTICS OF RISK MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT OF TELECOMMUNICATIONS ENTERPRISES
Abstract
The article presents the main modern trends in risk management of telecommunications enterprises in the context of existing global trends in the development of the telecommunications industry. The priority vectors of the activity of telecommunications enterprises and the peculiarities of the functioning of the telecommunications industry are presented. The economic essence of risk and features of risk as an economic category are considered. The semantic content of the essence of risk management of the activity of enterprises is presented. The content and significance of diagnostics are revealed as an important component of modern risk management and the necessity and importance of carrying out the process of diagnosing the state of risk management of enterprises are proved, as the effectiveness of the diagnostic stage depends on the quality of information on probable risks and the necessary criteria for their assessment. Types of risks have been revealed and identified that accompany the functioning of the telecommunications industry and the activities of telecommunications enterprises through the prism of the transformation processes of the global telecommunications market. It has been proved that the primary task of the risk management process of telecommunications enterprises is to determine the list of risk events that may occur at the enterprise and require attention. These procedures require to carry out the stage of risk identification, which is presented in any process of risk management at the enterprise. At the same time, the implementation of each stage is possible with the use of a set of methods, the correct choice of which will facilitate the achievement of targets at each of these stages and the main goal of risk management – increasing the level of economic security of telecommunications enterprises to ensure their sustainable functioning in an uncertain economic environment. The priority directions of improvement of the diagnostic system in risk management are proposed, taking into account the traditional and specific features of the functioning of telecommunications enterprises. The identified components of the diagnostic system will facilitate the correct identification of risk factors in the business environment of telecommunications enterprises and the choice of appropriate qualitative indicators for their assessment.
