SPECIFICITY OF INNOVATIVE MANAGEMENT IN TOURISM
Abstract
The article explores the specifics of innovative management in the tourism sector. The issue of determination of innovation management and innovation processes in various spheres of economy is investigated. It is proved that most scientists consider innovation management as a modern innovation management system, investments invested by owners in the development of all types of innovations, and the mechanism for managing these processes. The tourist sphere, like any other, needs modern methods, forms and mechanisms of service. In order to withstand the competition in the tourism market, enterprises of the tourism sector must implement innovative management, thus providing high-quality tourist services. The issues of specificity and features of innovative management in the tourism sector are considered. It is generalized that in the development of the innovative sphere of tourism should be interested not only private tourist enterprises for profit, but also at the state level, steps should be taken to attract investment in the development of this industry for the positive image of the national tourist product. The innovative management in the field of tourism is defined as a modern system of development, development and management of tourism innovations, investments made by owners in the development of all types of innovations, and a mechanism for managing these processes aimed at improving and developing the object of management and increasing its capital. The processes of management of innovations in the tourism sphere and world practice are named. They are called innovative processes, the practical potential of which is largely determined by the level of development of tourist innovative infrastructure. Summarizing the views of scientists on the innovative processes in tourism, one can argue that the success of the operation of the tourism industry is largely dependent on innovation management. The practical application of innovations in the tourism sector will not only increase the competitiveness of the enterprise, but also assess the feasibility of introducing new types of services. Practice shows that the most suitable option, at the present stage, is the use of information technology.The introduction of innovation management in the tourism sector is one of the main factors of success for the enterprises of this sphere, which is carried out, as a rule, at the top level management of a tourism enterprise, the main objective of which should be to determine the main directions of scientific, technical and production activities of the enterprise. Innovative technologies lead to the creation of the necessary conditions for the sustainable development of tourism enterprises aimed at ensuring the competitiveness of tourist services at the level of international standards. Therefore, the development and introduction of an innovative tourism product, the use of information technology in its formation and service of tourists; the use of new information technologies in the development, promotion and sale of tours, the formation of knowledge about the latest mechanisms and methods of management of international and domestic enterprises in the field of tourism are key factors of the success and competitiveness of domestic tourism enterprises.
